1st Day: Departure U.S.A
2nd Day: Munich Apt – Munich Arrival at Munich airport. Transfer to our hotel for check-in. Welcome get together followed by a dinner at the hotel. (D) 3rd Day: Munich – Oberammergau After breakfast we will check out. This morning we will enjoy a half day sightsee- ing tour through the city of Munich including a short walk to the New Town Hall houses the Glockenspiel, a beautiful carillon that is over 100 years old. Lunch break (lunch not included). Afternoon trip through the Bavarian Alps to Oberammergau or vicinity. Check in at your hotel. The village of Oberammergau is famous for the Lüftlmalerei painted houses, woodcarvings in the Pilatushaus, the Passionstheater used for the Passion Play, and nature. A typical Bavarian dinner will be served. (B, D) 4th Day: Oberammergau or vicinity After breakfast full day excursion to Linderhof and Neuschwanstein Castle. Nestled in the Bavarian mountains, King Ludwig II built two of his dream castles, Neuschwanstein and Linderhof. While he never had the chance to live at Neuschwanstein he enjoyed decorating Linderhof Castle in a very extraordinary way. This trip shows us both of these unique castles, the legacy of Bavaria's fairytale King. Lunch break in between. (B, L) 5th Day: Oberammergau - Innsbruck After breakfast check out and trip to Innsbruck, Austria. On the way to Tirol short stopp at Seefeld, |
a famous ski and hiking village surrounded by the picturesque nature.
Check in at the hotel in the afternoon. Tyrolean Evening with lots of enterntainment. (B, D) 6th Day: Innsbruck Half day sightseeing tour of Innsbruck after bre- akfast. This tour includes the very highlight of this town such as the Golden Roof, the Hofburg Residence, Wilten Church and several other sights. Afternoon free for shopping. Evening: dinner at the hotel. (B,D) 7th Day: Innsbruck - Kitzbuehel After breakfast check out as we continue on to Kitzbuehel. The Kitzbühel region is embedded between Kitzbüheler Horn mountain and Hahnenkamm peak, and presents itself in a sporty way. There are numerous possibilities to pursue sports in dreamlike nature and to combine it with a shopping spree in the historic town center with its chic flair. This town is an all-rounder offering charms and its own very special identity. Excursion to the one of the giant peaks. We will enjoy the most impressive view over the Alps. Lunch on the mountain. There is enough time to walk around. Evening entertainment on our own. (B, L) 8th Day: Kitzbuehel – Salzburg - Freising Check out after breakfast. Journey to Munich with a stop at Salzburg for a short walking tour and a nice lunch break. Afterwards we will continue on to Freising, a typical Bavarian town close to Munich airport. Farewell-dinner. (B, D) 9th Day: Freising-Munich airport Check out after breakfast. Transfer to Munich Apt. |
